20 years survivor stories? Read on...

Our very good friend zufus (Bob Parsons) has shared this site with us many times and today I will do it. I have attached a newsletter from Patient Advocates for Advanced Cancer Treatment (www.paactusa.org). In this quarters newsletter there are some great articles on 20 years survivors of advanced prostate cancer. Great stuff. There is also some great stuff from PCa specialist Mark Moyad and much more. Hope is a helluva good thing. These stories pass along hope to all here at HW and I HOPE that it hits your heart. As Jimmy Valvano said as his cancer was manifesting his life away, "Never Give Up". I've lost too many friends at this site and in recent years to prostate cancer. But I also have a lot of 20 years survivors here such as our own Ralfnaz here and many more. I know we will see more and more of that due to research advancements.

Gedman, I think of it exactly in your terms (same age basically) but them I remind myself of my family history of heart attacks and how wound up and stressed I am with work.

I am 99% certain I will die of something other than PCa. I just don't think that will happen in my 90s.
