Xtandi....is a great discovery......It has helped (I believe along with the taxotere treatments) for the last 9 months, however PSA is doubling and another treatment will start tomorrow (Wednesday). I am keeping an eye on grizzy'n me, he's on Jevtana (that's what husband will start on tomorrow). However, Xtandi will fail at some time on some as well as all of the other medications that have come down "the pipes".....this disease can manipulate it's cells to continue growing and gnawing away at our men's bodies.

Sorry guys.....I am a little down tonight and it's showing on this post. Husband (Ted)and I are getting a little tired traveling down this road. This disease has taken so much away from my husband's "well being"........and I see and hear that pain in his eyes and in his voice.

So another night with tears in my eyes as I try to go to sleep and wake up cheerful and smiley, cook him his breakfast and then go for the results of his latest bone scan and then to treatment because the cancer is spreading more and more every day......sucking the life out of my man and killing me along the way as well!

Tednsal, The tears flow listening as your heart breaks. A good friend of mine began his journey a year before me and lost his battle after only 4 years. Nothing worked for him. He told me that H/ T would only work six months. It worked for 6 years. I pray you find a magic bullet. perhaps Tak-700. Radium 223 or xl-184. Bless both of you. Todd
