It and I do not get along very well.

Do not tell me that Provenge is expenses.$92,000

Is just a drop in a bucket when compared to Zytiga.$6000 a month12 months =$72000

First year.

Then second year =$144,000......................

zytiga is 6 grand a month?????? in total shock, didn't have a clue, knew Provenge was expensive, but gee. does your insurance pay the bulk of this cost?

I have to give myself an injection of Enbrel every week. It's $2400+ per month without insurance. With insurance, my copay is $75. However, Enbrel has a "patient assistance" card that brings my copay down to $10. Kind of like a frequent flyer program. The sad thing is I didn't know about it until I saw a brochure in my doctor's office. No one ever said anything.

So there might be a "frequent flyer" program for those drugs as well. Try contacting the pharmaceutical manufacturer and asking.

Oh, I also found out about one for Dexilant which is for acid reflux. My copay went from $54 to $28.

It always pays to contact the manufacturer.
