Looking for advice and your thoughts...
I am about 4 years post-SRT and almost 6 years post-robotic prostatectomy. I was fully continent after about 3 months post-surgery (aside from an occasional few drops of leakage with physical stress). In the past year I've lost over 50 pounds, gotten into a fitness regimen, running daily 3-5 miles along with weight training 3x/week. I'm in the best shape since my mid 20's. Over this past year, until very recently, I have had no problems with incontinence. No change in exercise recently aside from continuously increasing the amount of weight I am lifting.
I've had some level of incontinence for the past half-week or a little longer, when I am running, and now when I am walking as well. I've noticed it moreso if the runs are later in the day (usually I run first thing in the morning during my working weekdays). I do drink 2-3 cups of coffee during the day. It seems to be increasing daily; my run both yesterday and today I soaked my underwear and leaked through to my running shorts; I am going to have to start wearing some sort of pad to avoid the embarrassment I have experienced the last couple of days.
My first thought goes to a question as to whether this is coming on from the SRT - but it seems pretty abrupt for that. My second thought is to whether this is a urinary infection. No pain or burning, discoloration of urine or other symptoms that I read online, just the incontinence, particularly during running/walking, and increasing in intensity daily. Any similar experiences?
Thanks in advance
Jeff
