Hello,
I am scheduled to meet with my surgeon at Vanderbilt on Friday for my 6 week Post op visit. I will have my first PSA test post op, and I guess will discuss my progression with incontinence and sexual function.
I will get a copy of my pathology report at that time even though he verbally told me that all margins were negative and that he was very pleased with the pathology report post op.
Incontinence has been getting better. I wear a pad for security but only have small leakage at certain points. More or less stress incontinence only when I turn or move a certain way. Hopefully with my daily kegels the incontinence will eventually go away. Maybe not.
Sexual Function - On my last 30 day free supply of Cialis. Not able to get full erection but probably 30 - 40 % erect. I need to ask what the next steps are. I have not tried the other meds yet but do have some samples to try.
This will be my final visit to Vanderbilt as long as my PSA is undetectable. The PSA screenings will be done by my local urologist going forward (Every 3 months for the first 2 years and then 6 months afterward)
Is there anything I need to ask the surgeon during my final post op visit with him other than the progress I am making as far as side effects and the pathology report?
Hope to be part of the Undetectible (Zero) club at first PSA reading.
Thanks In Advance
