I just received this from a friend, and his email was in no way connected to prostate cancer, but I thought I'd share it here anyway, since most of us can relate to the problem:

Clare Valley vintners in South Australia, who primarily produce Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Grigio wines, have developed a new hybrid grape that acts as an anti-diuretic.

It is expected to reduce the number of trips older people have to make to the bathroom during the night.

The new wine will be marketed as:

PINOT MORE!

There was this guy having a pretty much one sided conversation with his blind date. He kept going on and on about himself, he did dis, he did dat….he did everting.. Of course his date was getting squirmy and annoyed. Finally he pauses and says to the date as she brightened up. Ok enough about me, lets talk about you…what do you think about me……?? Boink, Pow, Wham!!! I sold that joke for a buck in Central Park to a guy who was selling jokes in Central Park for a buck.

Prostate related: This may be one of those "You had to be there" but I went back to work with the catheter still in. Led to an interesting exchange in the middle of a long meeting: Someone asked: "Anyone need a bio break?" I replied: "I don't know, let me check." and lifted my pants leg a bit to check my bag.... I tried to check very discreetly....while the laughter died down.
Here are a couple of things I saw on Facebook recently that might actually BE funny:
"I was addicted to the Hokey Pokey.........then I turned myself around."
"As a mortician, I always tie the shoelaces of the dead together. If there ever IS a Zombie Apocalypse, it will be hilarious!"
"If you want people to stop asking you stupid questions, always respond in Interpretive Dance."
Woohoo! It might say something about me that I think that stuff is funny. Have a great weekend! I'll be battling balky Christmas lights.

Warning Adult Humor and Prostate Cancer Related

As most of you know from my recent posting about my aborted radiation, I soon will be starting some form of HT.

I was talking on the phone with my wife while I was still in Los Angeles about the effects of HT. Of course she knows a lot about it from dealing with her late husband and 12 years of HT.

As newly weds and someone who has just about fully recovered from ED issues, we were talking about that effect.

I told her that I had heard that one of the effects of HT was that guys get the opportunity to get in touch with "Their Feminine Side".

I told her that it was my fervent hope that "My Feminine Side turns out to be lesbian"...You fill in the blanks.

We are still laughing about it.

Three guys were comparing the results with the use of trimix. The first guy from Italy says that he wipes his wife down with olive oil and gave her a great massage and then have sex and makes her scream for a 5 minutes.

The second guy is from California and he says he wiped his wife down with vegetable oil, gives her a great massage and they have sex and she screams for 15 minutes.

The third guy is cajun and wipes his wife down with butter, gives her a great massage and they have sex and she screams for 2 hours straight!

The first two look at each other in astonishment and ask how in the world did you manage that? The Cajun replies "Simple, I wiped my hands on the curtains..."

Funny I read it, as, he wiped his hands on curtains, cause he could'nt use those appendages as well due to slippage and this allowed him to go longer I guess I assumed all three had PCa, ergo, logo, nogo…..

The deleted joke was just a little too far over the line of vulgar, and not really in the spirit of a site where the audience is not limited to crusty old PCa guys.

Guys,

Your mods work in mysterious ways.

The jokes get a little rough around here. Sometimes they get over the line and we whack them. The location of that line may seem obscure and arbitrary. That is because it is obscure and arbitrary. We are somewhat old-fashioned guys using our best judgement for what is allowable in mixed company in an informal setting. I try to us the same standards I would use for a family gathering, later in the evening when the children are in bed but there are still ladies present.

We could enforce a clearer set of guidelines but they would have to be more restrictive. Your Friday funnies would be all Nancy and Sluggo and no Little Annie Fanny. It's kind of up to you.
