"im a new member here and had my surgery 14 days ago today . I sleep without a pad now for five days , but when I try during the day I notice I spot , but usually in the afternoon after walking a lot and being on my feet . sometimes I fell the wet pad brings on more dripping . my phopia is that I will never get better with the dripping . my surgery was a success and pathology was perfect . its just that you hear these stories about guys that are fine two weeks out , and wonder why not you . am I being silly"

I think he's doing great and anticipate that in the coming weeks will notice a definite improvement.

I'm impressed. You are doing far better than I was doing two weeks after surgery. At that point I'd just had catheter removed and couldn't stand up without making a dash to the bathroom. It took a few weeks after that before things returned to near normal and then several months before I could do without a pad.

Hello dakat and I'll also extend my welcome. Congrats on the great/early progress post surgery, good to hear and I wish you continued success as you move along down the path of recovery.

And yes, we would love to have you help others out here - what I like to call "Pay Forward." Your experience will for sure be helpful to others that will unfortunately find themselves being told "You have Prostate Cancer."
