Brachytherapy doctor in Norcarolina area

I am new to the forum .I am Seeking a good Doctor in brachytherapy procedure in Durham Raleigh area if any one have any idea or names will appreciate

The names I have heard (from other people in the area who were looking into brachytherapy) were Dr Robert Lee at Duke and Dr Bart Frizzel at Wake Forest Baptist.

I just wanted to welcome you to Healing Well. I don't have any specific docs in NC but I had successful brachytherapy as did several other men who post on this forum (also posting are couple of men's wives). If there is anything we can do to help or answer any questions, please feel free to ask.

I too welcome you, 21. I am glad that you are considering this route. I had my 4 year psa yesterday at 'less than 0.1'. Haven't even had time to update my profile. I know you will be pleased if you decide on this treatment.

Hello thanks you for your welcome also for the research provided I research the two doctor in nc area it seems that doctor Lee from duke is very experience do any one in the forum has had treatment with Robert Lee or Dr Bart Frizzel thank you again for your help in my seek for treatment.

I know someone who consulted with Dr Lee and thinks highly of him (although he decided to get his IMRT treatment from another doctor who Dr. Lee recommended). He lives two hours' drive from Duke and the commute to get his treatment from Dr. Lee would have been tiresome. Dr. Lee knew his local radiation oncologist and spoke highly of her.

If you send me an email I can put you in touch with him although, as I said, he consulted with Dr. Lee but someone else did his treatment and he chose external beam radiation, not brachytherapy.
