I had almosts the same pathology as your husband, except the GS :
3+4=7 and negative margins. You didn`t mention if your hudband had lymphadenectomy . If yes, and his lymph nodes were negative,
Lymphovascular invation(LV1) or as you say angiolymphatic invasion is only an adverse condition for high stage cancers like ours,but not something to worry about too much.
Lymphovascular invasion is mentioned in the path. report when the cancer is microscopicaly found in either the lymphatic or vascular small vessels in the examined prostate. In your case, there was cancer found only in lymphatic vessels but not in the vascular vessels.This had nothing to do with the spread of cancer in the regional lymph nodes. You can have lymphovascular invasion but negative lymph nodes
You have to keep in mind that your husband had an aggressive cancer with a high probability of reccurance and MAY need adjuvant or salvage RT+HT In the future.
The good news is the post surgery undetectable PSA.
