By my count the GFMPH group on the Alaska cruise comes to six cabins (12 individuals) but truth in advertising suggests that I admit that half of those cabins will be be occupied by friends and family members who do not now, nor have they every, knowingly had yucky prostates. I'm including them in the group to try to wrangle a few more goodies out of Norwegian Cruise Lines*.
Some of the people in the above count have told me they are coming but have not told our travel agent that they are joining the group. If you are planning to go with us. Either comment here so I can make sure you get hooked up with our group, or send me an email if you are shy...
If you are not going with us (middle of June, sailing from Whittier south to Vancouver) why not? For a lot of you Alaska in June will be a heck of a lot warmer than where you are now. We're going to have ourselves a time.
Some of us are doing a land tour just before the cruise -- we'll be seeing Denali National Park and Mt. McKinley** (tallest mountain in North America third largest mountain in the world) -- which adds quite a bit to the price of the cruise (triples it, more or less) but is a once-in-a-lifetime deal.
I've booked my flights. Delta all the way there and back. Email me if you'd like a copy of my itenerary so you can coordinate arrivals. (I fly into Fairbanks, people just doing the cruise fly into Anchorage five days later.)
*NCL is
NOT the cruise line that is in the news right now with a sick ship. Just so you know.
**Weather permitting.
