Peter:
Maybe it's just me. If new research showed that without question one tx was far superior to the one I chose, would I feel any different? NOT AT ALL. Really, I dealt with the information I had at the time. That's IT! Hey, suppose they come out with a CURE, but it's too late for my situation. There would still be no regret on my part. Such is life. I am almost 100% certain that my grandson will have a ton more options than I if he ends up with PC. In fact, they may by then have a way to prevent PC (a vaccine?).
Let me use an analogy. I am a serious tournament poker player. At times, I end up all-in with the best hand going in, and some idiot who had no business being in the hand knocks me out. This will happen quite often. Any regrets? NO! I played the hand right, with the information I had at the time. That ends the analogy because in poker I can count on these idiots paying me off in the long run. But, as per the analogy, I do not get upset whatsoever. Unfortunately, there is no real long run in PC treatments in that sense!
