DEGARALIX INJECTIONS???

I am having difficulty finding current info about injection sites for Degaralix.

I read it is given subcutainesly (in stomach).

My husband is due for his injection March 6th,and our Oncol. says it can be given in butt or arm.

Has anyone experienced having this injection done anywhere else but the butt???

I've been getting the injections in my stomach since Oct. 3, 2012. Does leave a lump, and starts getting red\sore after a couple hours. Stays red/sore for 5-7 days. I don't mind at all because it's keeping my PSA at 0.05 for the past several months.

At this point we will have the injection where ever it will do the best for my husband. You are correct the object is to keep the PSA low .
