Just got my 6 month PSA results, was 2.19 in October last year, is now 2.86 , a small rise, but a rise nevertheless , seeing Uro on 30th April.

Mal, you had a nice slow drop and now a slow rise. Keep us posted and thanks for checking in.

Mal, not the news I had hoped for from my good friend. Sorry its still on a slow rising pattern, time to talk to your oncologist soon. With you rising patter, however, you should be able go a long way without enduring any advanced treatments (such as the path I am on), if your doctor feels its safe.

When is the last time you had a full body bone scan, or perhaps PET scan?

Mal,

"Rise" is not good, but "slow" has its value. Keep track of it. My doubling dropped from 28 days to 85 days. You are beating me with a big stick. Keep doing that.

Ain't great news, but beats the socks off bad.

Every day is a bonus.

Thanks guys :) always good to talk here, I guess there is nothing to panic about yet, but it is rising all the same, I feel good, still very active, see what my Uro says on 30th.

David, I have never had a bone scan or Pet scan, my Doctor did not think it was necessary, I will talk to him about it.
