Hi everyone. Sorry it took me so long to report back, but I have had a couple of rough day's with pain and constipation. The first night home, my bag filled up in my sleep and burst on the way to the bathroom. Big mess. When I finally caught my breath and the pain subsided, I was able to call the wife out of her sleep to assist me. The pain was an 11 from that and a few hours later i had a small forced Bowel movement that was very painful as soon as I was done. another 10-11 pain level. the wife called the ER and told them everything, of course, they said bring him in. I did not want to go, but I did. This was Saturday. More needles stuck in me, blood drawn, and a Cat scan. They said it was all normal trauma, and sent me home. I felt like an idiot. The abdominal pain has lessened somewhat and I have had 2 more good Bowel movements since. The constipation is the worst thing now. I'm still moving slowly and bent over and don't enjoy sleeping on the bed. The couch is my friend right now, and also the recliner. Not much appetite, but force myself to eat something. Drinking water and apple juice and still taking pain meds and stool softeners. It can only improve now, I hope.

It's been 11 day's since surgery and things are nowhere near back to normal. Catheter has been oiut since last Wednesday. Hard to get pee started after sleeping at night. Feel like I have to push or strain sometimes. I dribble but that don't bother me much with these diaper underwear. Still not eating much, lost at least 10 lbs. No appetite. Hopefully things change soon

You would know if you are retaining pee its possible you are underhydrated. Pain is normal doing basically anything for several weeks and pee n poop is messed up a lot longer. Major changes indide your pelvis.
