Hi

Well I'm out of the trial.
Latest psa 0.21. 0.2 is fail.

I have been on intermittent for 3 years with <0.1

So now watching doubling time to start adt2 for 6 months again.

My oncologist says that to go farther on intermittent the second time is encouraging that it will continue.

So wait 3 months and see what happens.

They don't think the Avastin is prolonging the off time for any of the trial members..
Hoping for another 3 years on intermittent :)

I am pretty sure you will make your goal. 0.2 and out of trial, wow, that is strict, geez. What if it is helping like Provenge, where PSA does not fall, but it makes all therapies afterwards more efficient? The only thing they are judging this by is PSA, and that does not give a full picture, as we already know.

Well .2 is for surgery. 2.0 is for radiation.

Dana-Farber has been working with Avastin for several years.
So they feel they have a good idea whether it's being effective.

With my 3 years off adt2 with a G9 they now feel just treat with adt2 now then prostvac and or Provenge later.
With psa every 3 months they will act if it gets aggressive.

More and more they are talking about customize the treatment to the individual and there response to treatment.
