Does anyone have any idea how many times or how often per week I need to work on getting blood down there until (hopefully) nocturnal erections return so I don't have to worry about
apathy? Been working on this almost everyday but its becoming more like work

I took the threat seriously and was at it daily. My wife and I had a great rehab process.

John, I think atrophy was the term you were looking for. But apathy could work if you were on hormonal therapies. :-/
Here are some links for you...

Haha,
It's all good. Like I said both terms can apply but with total differing meanings. But yes there are things to can do and hopefully soon you'll be back in business.

John- I was told to use VED twice daily for 5 to ten minutes. I did and it was as you said WORK. I'm glad I did, and I continue to do 15 min in the am most days proceeded by an hour of traction. Regards Inkhorn

After surgery at City of Hope, they immediately started me on 50mg of Viagra to get the blood flowing around the nerves that were in shock.
Within the first 2 to 3 weeks after the surgery they wanted me to have stimulation 3 times a week even though I was pretty flaccid at that point. Later I was on the pump and then Trimix. After 18 months I could maintain an erection with 100 mg of Viagra.
As a side note, even though I was flaccid, I had a satisfying sexual experience when I first started the stimulation.

It's a lot of work getting an orgasm while flaccid so I've pretty much given up. Now that I'm on lupron it's now apathy instead of atrophy! Lol
