Not sure I'd bank on the accuracy of a dog's diagnosis, but our first hand experience is that our little Shih Tzu wouldn't sit in my husband's lap this time last year. She had always crawled up in the recliner with him for her evening snooze after dinner, but she wouldn't relax and stay with him. Now, one year later, after two surgeries, radiation and hormone treatment, she's asleep in the recliner with him again. I am hoping that is an indication of good news coming our way after not having much good news since last May. The next PSA in July should tell us whether the hormone treatment is working--hope Pebbles' behavior is a positive sign that things are looking up!
