Testosterone After Lupron - HT

My 12 months Lupron ended in 3/16/14. How long does it typically take for testosterone and estradiol to return to normal levels after HT? My test results on 6/5/14 showed the following:

Testosterone, total 15 ng/dL 348-1197
Testosterone,Free 0.16 ng/dL 5.00-21.00
% Free Testosterone 1.06% 1.50-4.20
Dihydrotestosterone 5.2 ng/dL Prefer <5.0
Estradiol 8.9 pg/mL 7.6-42.6

My last 4 month Lupron shot was in Oct. 2012. My testosterone got back to normal around May, 2013...so for me, it took a few months after the shot wore off.

Hey Robert.....it depends on the term of your shot(ie 1-4 month duration) and of course other things like age and physical condition.....for me it took a good 6-8 months after the end of my shot cycle to get back to where I thought was normal. One thing I should have done was take my T level reading before I started my treatment.

Thanks, guys, my shots were 3-month. Okay, looks like it takes about 6+ months to regain T to normal level. I am really watching my DHT and want to keep it <5.0, as Dr. Snuffy Myers says. I will probably ask for Avodart and one of the drugs to prevent breast enlargement.
