One year clear of cancer - now time for implant

We have a number of guys here with implants. Maybe they will join in with their experiences. I will watch what they say with interest since I may be in the market for an implant pretty soon now. My surgeon saved "some" of one of my nerves two years ago but since then I have had radiation and two years of chemical castration (which ends this month) so chances are my chances are lousy. So, barring an almost-miraculous recovery I expect to have an implant by this time next year.

I dunno how strong your stomach is but one can find online videos of the operation to implant most of the popular models. I think I've seen the "minimally invasive" procedure although I don't remember the details. What you want to look at while you are shopping around is the infection rates more than the invasivity. Most of the surgeons have figured out how to leave a good looking scar.
