I am sitting in the Panera across the street from their offices. Having lunch and waiting for my appt time. Got here early on the advice of my son that cutting it short could be bad with the LA traffic.
I was greeted by Linda at the front desk and as soon as I mentioned, The Cajuns (Worryworts), Mel (Compiler) and Lupron Jim, she smiled at started to laugh. She said that we are the most positive and pleasant group of people she has met. Too bad our common bond is Pca.
A little wrinkle has been thrown into the trip. I have a hernia that has to be addressed.
Back in March as I was completing things for GFMPH, I suspicioned that I had one. Met with the Uro and had a ultra sound. They couldn't see one. Well they will be able to see it now. Popped out 2 days before I left. Yesterday I went and bought a hernia belt to hold me until I get home. Called the Uro's office today and told them he needs to see me Monday when I get back. Figure out the surgery I need and get it done. I leave Sep 5th for NY.
Not missing that trip. Sherry and I will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary there.
I will post after I have met with Dr. Turner. I am sure that there will be lots to discuss.
Beautiful day out here and indeed it is another wonderful "Bonus Day",
Sonny
