Sonny, you should be able to place a call to Dr Turners's nurse, Jill Peck, to get your PSA results. I would not put too much stock on having been off the TAK700 though as it may have a half life that needs to wear off.
I agree those logistics are kind of tough, but given your big rig and advice from Startech and BigMac, you and Sherry could manage it if you had to.
First things first though, hernia has to go.
Don't know if you discussed the Provenge logistics with Dr. Turner or with his Provenge experts, Cliff Falarca and Jill Peck there in Marina del Rey, but there are 3 treatments on weekends 1,3 and 5. They extract your blood on Friday, treat it so that when infused your body will do the Immunotherapy, and then infuse it back into your bloodstream on Monday.
In my case, veins are not large enough for the sword they use to do the extractions and infusions, so I will have to get a port in my shoulder area.
If you don't want to go to Marina del Rey for the Provenge, you can input your zip code into the Provenge site and they will tell you where in Space Coast area you can have Provenge treatments
www.provenge.com/Thanks for the update and glad you and Dr Turner bonded. Yes the "we" is reflective that the Scholz/Lam/Turner collaborate on all their cases.
I am attending the PCRI Conference Sept 5-7 at LAX Marriott and there are a couple sessions where Ipilumimab a/k/a Yervoy may come up. Snuffy Myers is doing a Sat 2:45 - 3:30 session on Immune Therapy and Mark Scholz is moderating one of the concurrent Ask the Experts session on Sunday at
9 AM that repeats at 10 AM on Immunotherapy, since there are a half dozen different topics. If I hear anything one way or the other on Ipi, I will let you know.
