8 months post-ADT update

I am checking in but I don't have too much to report which is good. I am now 8 months past finishing 3 years of ADT2. This week's PSA remained undetectable. My testosterone recovered relatively quickly. I have had normal T levels since at least April when I had it tested. I think my T level must be even higher now. My libido is definitely in overdrive. I still have total ED when I am awake. Ironically, I get routine nocturnal erections. Cornell Urology's web site states it is a myth that night-time erections mean all is well. That site indicates nocturnal erections simply mean the veno occlusive system is fine. I think I have nerve damage. However, the pump works fine. I am actually pretty cool with the situation at this point and probably will no longer worry about ED.

I have one weird issue. I was warned by Dr. Lam I could experience tender breasts when my testosterone returned. Well, a small area to the beside my right nipple is tender and slightly swollen. It seems to fit the symptoms of gynecomastia. I have an oncologist appointment coming up and I will ask. It is not a big bother .. just weird.

It sounds like things are going pretty well on the recovery road. Great to hear, and keep going!

I had no breast issue while I was on plain ADT but when they added Casodex my boobs grew quickly and the tenderness became a real issue. Man I hate that Casodex but I gotta admit that it does it's job . . . Q

Great report SC and it's always great to hear from you. We have similar stats, but I took a different route than yourself. I just lost my undetectable in July and kind of have phase II in the works. Its a work in progress, but so glad to see your stats.
