I haven't done this for at least a couple or three years, have lost track, but we have gotten so many new members since the last time.
In 1999, the United States Postal Service, issued the only prostate cancer related postage stamp. It was the "Prostate Cancer Awareness" stamp, at the time, it was a 33 cent stamp.
I have given away several sheets worth of these stamps, there are 20 on a sheet, to members here at HW PC, at least 2 or 3 times over the years. I have purchased another sheet.
So if anyone wants one, just e-mail me your real mailing address, and I will gladly mail you one, free of charge, including return postage. No catches, no strings attached. As soon as I mail you your stamp, I will delete the e-mail with your address, for your personal security.
Some members here have even made frames and such, to mount the stamp(s).
Just a small token of appreciation. If you happen to collect US stamps (as I do), it is Scott #3315. You can look up the history of the stamp on-line and its production details.
Again it was the one and only prostate cancer related stamp ever issued by the U.S. Post Office, and there are no known plans to ever create another version.
First come, first served. If I end up with any left from this sheet, I will amend this post, and make it open to anyone else - even if you got some before.
Thanks,
David
