hi guys,
I haven't been here in a while, I try not to go online much in the summer, too much to do and fish to catch! I think the last time I was here was to see how things worked out for bill in fla and I hope things are still good for him.
one year ago today I parted ways with my prostate I almost didn't want to post this because I know for many others with worse cases this does not turn out as well as I have experienced so far. but I thought I should incase any newbies might run across it. I'm happy to report my p.s.a. is still at .04 sex is back to normal, always great sometimes off of the charts (I sometimes wake with usable nocturnals and get to use them if I say but hon it's therapy) I have to admit I miss the mess but that's a small price to pay and it's much neater now. I had very few leakage issues in the beginning and none now.
I can't thank you guys enough for walking me though every thing from my first p.s.a question to biopsy and surgery it was always a huge comfort to know what to expect. so thank-you very much for being here for me.
with all this great news I also have to add I'm more than a bit melancholy tonight I lost my dog boomer yesterday he was a fourteen year old golden retriever. we owned his mother so I was there from his first breath to his last. he needed help getting up since april and for the last couple of weeks he needed help just to walk (and he started yelping lately)so for us to not put him to sleep was getting pretty selfish he deserved better. he was a great dog.
nobody rides for free.
thanks, carl
