My surgery was 9.5 months ago. Last night, I took 10 mg of Cialis before bed. This morning, for the first time since surgery, my wife and I were able to achieve penetration without the aid of Trimix. The erection didn't last quite as long as I would have liked, but it was there for a few minutes. Things had been getting steadily better, and then I seemed to plateau for a month or two. Things are again getting better.

I think I'm getting close to the point where I won't need Trimix at all. I would say that the Trimix has been worth the effort, but if I can achieve the same result with a pill instead of a shot, the pill is going to be my choice every time.

You just never know what's going to come up.

I'm at the same juncture as you, where PDE5i kick in much better. Problem is staying power!.

I use a "cock ring", like this one en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Cockring.jpg at the base of the penis which remedies the "staying power" problem.

Dmivt, CONGRADS, we had our surgery the same day glad things are getting better for you. I don't know about you but the ED thing even though I knew it was a reality it was still surprising and not something I would have been able to imagine beforehand. You responded to my last post about my ED. Everyone said the same thing and that is to be patient, that 9-months is early. Im able to get a erection with Viagra, seems like I used to get a erection if I sneezed to hard LOL
I know from your earlier post your in great physical shape, so I got believe things will continue to get better for you. Hang in there better days are coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and congradulations for you and your marriage.

Keep it up, brother! Still dead as a doornail here 8 months out, but that is as expected as I doubt I had any nerves spared.

Thanks for the comments. I am certainly lucky, based on some other things I've read here and elsewhere, that after all we've been through, both my wife and I still seem intent on making the best of what we've been dealt. Neither of us has bailed on the other, and if anything, I think the non-physical side of our marriage is probably stronger than it was before all of this. We have had a couple very tough years right now - job loss, loss of my mother, health issues with children, lots of medical costs, financial stresses, my job in a start-up company is at risk, etc. But, we seem more determined than ever to make things work out.
