Hi everyone, well after seven and a half years my PSA is on the move, saw my Urologist today, and he said he had a talk with my Oncologist, they have decided to delay treatment until I have another PSA in February 2015.
If I have another significant rise, then the plan is to have an MRI, CT, and bone scan, followed by a combination of Hormone, and a new Chemo drug, he said that they have had great success with this combination.

So that's where I am now :)

G'day Mal, well in the event that the Feb reading dictates further treatment here's to another 7 years of near zero PSA.

By then there will no doubt be yet another treatment available and so the good life rolls on.

Sounds like you are in good hands.

You guys from Down Under are up and moving already. We are just waking up here in the USA.

Mal, take a vacation this Holiday Season and worry about the rise in your PSA next year.

Chasing, good luck with the incontinence and your decision about an AUS.

Mal, my good friend, thanks for the update.

I find your plan with your doctor to be both safe and reasonable. Some where, some time, a line in the sand needed to be made, and this time frame sounds good for you.

If it rises, and odds are, it will, at least you will have a game plan in place, and you can then eliminate the uncertainty of waiting and waiting for something else to happen.

I am here for you, any time.

Your case has been a wierd one. But you haven't. Other than living upside down.

Thank you for the comments on FB on the puppy. That was a tough go for us.

Thanks Tony, been through the loss of a pet 5 times, would like another but not at my age.

Other than the PSA news, I feel pretty good for a 74 year old, and I guess I have to be thankful for that, there are many here worse off.

I say go for it.

Those pets put so much positive in our lives. Mr. B. was a gift on week seven of my RT. It was hard to let go. But man what a lift.
