Todays events

Saw my Primary Care Doc today, he's a cardiologist, but very good, and have a long relationship with him. He is young, about 50 (young to me), but excellent. And he gives a crap. I just felt I needed to talk to him and also wanted to get my BP checked, since I am on much lower meds than in the past. BP was fine.
He looked at the path report, which I brought with me, and said that from what he sees, and considering that I have been all over this for the last 3 years, he expects very little chance that the scans won't be clean.
Of course, tonight, my freaking hip started bothering me.

And he said that assuming the scans are clean, he isn't too worried about the G8, he thinks that any uro would give me an excellent prognosis. Hope he is right.

Made appointments for Bone and CAT scans tomorrow, all day affair, doing one right after the other. Results should be at my doc on Friday and I was told to call and speak to the PA (my uro is at his Manhattan office Friday.

Made an appointment with Tewari for next Tuesday, need to send him all my stuff in advance, by Monday night so "he and his team can review my case before we meet".

Made an appointment for Nov 25 with a local URO who is Chief of Robotics at St Francis (big hospital on Long Island) and did my friend who had a great result. He has done over a thousand robotic RPs and does about 30 a month. My PCP knows him and told me he is a great guy, and will give me the truth about the best treatment, with no agenda.

My PCP also was very emphatic that assuming the scans are clean, he thinks surgery is my best option with zero question. Said I am young, in good shape physically, and I shouldn't do radiation. Told him I agree but will meet with ROs anyway just to be sure.

Made appointment for next Tuesday with my current Uro (the guy that did the biopsy and has been my Uro for 2 years). I'm going to talk to him about what in his view are my options, and ask him to set me up with his RO who does Cyberknife.
Epstein at JH has my slides as of today, I am going to call tomorrow late, if I can to see if I can get some results from them.

I'm going to start, no actually, resume, reading Dr Walshs book tonight if I can focus.

I'm trying to get back in control and be less all over the place, realize I am out of control.
My PCP saw how I was and gave me another 40 Xanax. Also told me to get on Lexapro for a while, gave me the smallest possible dose. Hopefully it will help and I can think straight.

I know I got a lot of responses today, to my earlier posts, which I'm going to read now.

For what it's worth, Lexapro has been my friend for a little while now. :)

@Yooper - its the Xanax.
@Redwing - Im gonna start the Lexapro tomorrow. He gave me a very small dose told me every other day for two weeks then every day. Last time, he gave me a larger dose, of Zanaflex (basically destroyed me, I took one pill before bed, and was a waste case for three days. Stopped it.

I hate being on this crap. Hope I can get off it soon.

I have never been what you would call a "Hypo" But it looks like that is due to change very soon.

Maybe with all those pills rolling around inside you should change your handle to "RattleMan"
