Positive Surgical Margins of "rock star" docs

A friend called recently to tell me that her husband was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. They've been researching treatments, including both robotic and open prostatectomy, and I thought I could help her with some info.

A while back I thought I had read an older thread about various surgeons' rates of positive margins. I can't find the thread now but would love to read it again so I can forward it to my friend. (I think the doctors mentioned were all "rock star" doctors including Dr. Samadi.)

Does this sound familiar? If you can lead me to the link, that would be great.

I'd be careful with that. Samadhi is known to prey on younger guys with very little PC. A chipmunk could have good surgical margins operating on men that don't need operating on.

Can you expound on this?

I asked Samadis office staff today, about their rate of positive margins and was not really given a concrete answer. Something about it depends on the extent of cancer and if it has spread outside the prostate, but that my case was high likelihood of negative margins.
