What Next? Now commercials about lawsuits linking Cialis, Levitra and Viagra to Melanoma cancer

Yesterday while watching a ball game, there was a commercial encouraging men to join in on the lawsuit that is saying that the ED drugs have shown to have a strong link to Melanoma.

"According to the JAMA study mentioned above, men who use Viagra for erectile dysfunction are 84 percent more likely to develop melanoma skin cancer than men who do not use erectile enhancing drugs."

If this has been discussed here before, I apologize, I must have missed it.

But for crying out loud, can any of us dealing with Pca and its side effects ever catch a break.

This is actually funny. The section I've pasted below, is where they lost all credibility, and where I stopped reading.

And the first sentence looks like an attempt by lawyers... to protect themselves against OTHER lawyers.
This stuff makes my blood boil, and is as big a part of the skyrocketing cost of healthcare, as unnecessary tests.

Prato, scientist tend to speculate a lot. The writer probably should have used terms like hypotesize or theorize. You know, like the theory of realtivity, or the Big Bang theory.

PSA, once again spot on. What's a bit blue vision, back ache, or melanoma versus sex? (Do you apply the sunscreen before or after the hammer slam?).

As a youngster, I spent a week a year at Rockaways, on the beach every day.

We didn't know any better, and it was always a sure-fire way to get attention at school when one had a beet red sunburn. Then the peeling and the nice new skin. It was actually a source of pride.

about 10 years ago, I got a small basal cell carcinoma on my wrist. Clearly visible, so got it checked out quickly. Easy surgery -- 15 minutes in my family doctor's office and I was cured. Who knows what specific sunburn decades earlier caused it.

I sure wish PC was that easy to take care of!
