I had symptoms for years like frequency, weak stream , dribbling which I thought was BPH based on an earlier diagnosis by a urologist. I stupidly did not go back to a urologist and instead relied on my GP who apparently was unaware that finasteride which I was taking to shrink prostate was holdings my PSA reading down by half. After RP, ADT and SRT, I still have SEs ( see signature) but I have never had PCa symptoms and hopefully it's either gone or in remission.
I guess my take away is PCa is a slow growing silent killer ( my surgeon guessed that I had it for 7-9 years) and if your PSA starts to rise, get a biopsy. It doesn't matter how healthy or what age you are: PCa doesn't care!
