Just now got a "Security Alert" warning about entering the HW PC website

Just now (9:15 PM EST, Jan. 13) a box with the following popped up on my screen as I was reading threads here:

SECURITY alert

The identity of this website or the integrity of this connection cannot be verified.

(check mark) The security certificate is from a trusted certifying authority

(check mark) The security certificate date is valid

(warning symbol) The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site.

Do you want to proceed? YES NO VIEW CERTIFICATE

I decided it was prudent not to click on anything, since this message seemed to me a bit suspect, so I just x'ed it out. No identifying source was given with the message.

Anyone else get this, or was it just something particular to my machine?

I've not seen anything of the like.

check the time and date of your security alert against the time set on your computer. If your date on your computer is not set correctly you may run into alerts. This happens with Windows XP. Not really sure about other operating systems.
