Had a weird dream last night and actually fell out of bed.

(This has happened a few times now in the last 5 years).

I hit my ear on the corner of a nightstand and banged up my knee/shoulder. Still hurting.

While on the floor in the middle of the night, I had a very good ...LAUGH.

My wife could not understand it. I didn't bother explaining.

How do I explain the humor at the thought that I might well die from falling out of bad -- after all these many years of PC worry/anxiety!

Some philosopher (sorry, can't recall which one off hand) was once asked "Which is the best way to die?" to which he replied "The most sudden."

Well, maybe. But here's an account I came across recently from a British physician who is claiming that dying from cancer is the best way to die. shocked

VERY controversial to say the least:

Sounds nice, but in reality many people suffer tremendously towards the end of life caused by cancer. If there is a chance for a cure and longer life then go for it.

For me dying from cancer is okay as long as the quality of life is there knowing and that I will die soon gives me time to tie loose ends. But I sure the hell don't want to be a burden to my family, or society towards the end. I came into this world having people change my diapers, and I don't want to go out that way. Where is Dr. Jack Kevorkian when you need him? LOL.

That article is ridiculous. Death from cancer can be horrible as we all know.

TO the article posted...really? Has this guy ever actually watched someone in the last stages? I have. When morphine becomes your last friend and the only way to find rest....

I have always heard that freezing to death in snow is the most peaceful. As Kiergagaard aptly said " we only suffer once" Its tough to drop names, if you do ur name dropping for recognition. If not your plagiarizing.

I lost my dear wife to cancer. Although she may of not known much about it because of the morphine that was being pumped into her body. For my son and I, the sight of watching her waste away day after day is not something I ever want to experience again.
