I'm sorry itraconazole didn't work longer. It prevents androgen synthesis in the adrenals like ketoconazole, but also blocks something called the "hedgehog signaling pathway" that can stimulate the cancer.

half the men taking it had a PSA decline of 50% or more within 12 weeks:
