Went in for my surgery follow-up today. Pathology was good. Still G6, Negative Margins, No SVI. There was PNI, but only within the prostate. In fact, the original pathology reported Neg PNI. The second set of eyes, gave it a +.
I am so happy, especially since they also removed the garden hose as well. I'm a little leaky, but don't think I'll leak for long. I was feeling so good, I stopped the bladder check mid-stream, just to see if I could, and then voided the remainder.
The only issue I'm really having is that the main incision is leaking. The surgeon was able to extract about
half a cup of liquid from the site. He packed in some gauze and I'm returning next week to make sure it's healing correctly. That is most likely the result of my prior surgery.
Otherwise, we are all smiles here.
