Allen, no actually I didn't miss the news on Omega 3s, I read with great interest the results of the study. I recall that here were many experts , whatever the hell that means, that refuted the study, in part saying that because it was retrospective , there were too many shortfalls. At the time, I was on Lovaza, a prescript
ion form of Omega3 which I was taking for high triglycerides. Despite all the people refuting YHE study, I stopped the lava, and changed my diet thus getting the triglycerides under control.
I bought the omega 3 from Designs for health, on my own, not at direction of Katz. But I never
opened the bottle.
The two supplements that Katz directed me to buy from them which I took for 2 years, were Inflammatone, and Brocco-protect. Obviously an anti inflammatory and a broccoli extract, info here (hope it's ok, to post, if not , apologies to mods...

I stopped taking them. It didn't stop me from getting Cancer, didn't stop my PSA from rising, and I thought maybe I was wasting my money.
Dr Katz is in fact the one and the same dr that specializes in Cryo, but He did not even bring it up to me. In fact, as I've mentioned here before, immediately after giving me the biopsy results, he suggested that I have him set up an appointment with Dr JOn Haas, the RO Chief at his hospital (where Katz is chairman of urology), to discuss Cyberknife. I was very put off by that, as I would have rather have heard a suggestion that I come in and discuss all options. I told him I planned on exploring all options and did go to see him AFTER I had appointments with 2 surgeons, on my own. But I don't think I'll go back to him, even if at some point I decide to see a local Uro.
