Mal, my good friend, I only this evening saw your post.
Sorry about your latest rise. Please keep us well posted on this next visit with your doctor. Though this steady rising is a real concern, you probably are a long way away from having any issue with mets from this progression. Is it time for you to have some kind of new bone scan to look for mets? If so, a clear scan would probably help give you some peace of mind.
Even with my failed surgery and failed radiation, and having my PSA at one point close to 100, and now back in the 40's, there still is no scan evidence of any mets going on with me, so my doctor and I are staying the course for now. HT and/or Chemo is always out there, if needed for me, but until the doctor feels its time, just going to keep dealing with all my other issues, that's enough to keep 5 men busy, lol.
