Got my ProstaVysion genetic test results this morning. This was done on positive core from biopsy.
Any knowledge / feedback would be greatly appreciated.........
Score of 6 (in the 5-10 Poor range)
Positive on ERG (fuel for more aggressive growth).
Positive on PTEN deletion (missing inhibitor to slow growth)
Urologist feedback on this was - not an immediate alarm but confirms no benefit to wait for treatment.
Next step is scheduling MRI to confirm location and confinement of cancer.
Then seeing high level Urologist for 2nd opinion.
Leaning toward surgery - Da Vinci - for multiple reasons.
2nd opinion Urologist has high level / high quantity of robotic/Da Vinci experience.
Feedback on the ProstaVysion and other stats / considerations?
Thanks all !
