Tuesday was a normal work day, noted that I was 6 weeks since surgery. I don't think I strained or overdid anything. I must have eaten something Tuesday evening that didn't work..but I didn't eat anything unusual. Got up Wednesday morning, feeling vaguely nauseous, but nothing bad. Went through the workday, feeling worse all day. Got home, and my gut erupted. Spent the evening and night embracing the porcelain goddess. I really wondered if I had injured something inside there, and half expected that this morning I would be visiting the ER. But..nope. Ate normally today.
Tell you what, guys. When this happens this soon after surgery, it freaking HURTS. All the rules about
not straining and taking it easy stop applying when you can't control it. If I knew what it was I did to cause it, there is no way I would have. It appears, as of this evening, there is no damage to anything.
