Coming off Flomax?

I'm coming up on four months since my treatment and still have a couple months worth of Flomax. I don't have any urinary issues but my follow-up with the doctor isn't until May.

Has anyone had problems when they stopped taking it? Burning or painful urination?

One of the SE's listed is "decreased ejaculation". Is there a likelihood this will help that increase?

I guess I'm asking what I can expect, good and bad, as I'm thinking of stopping it today. TIA.

Dewayne, I stopped after two months of a three month plan. Felt a little trouble "going" so I continued it for another month and was then fine stopping. As I recall I weaned myself off it by reducing the dosage over the course of a week and then stopped completely -- you might consider that. My decreased ejac did not increase post-Flomax.

Dewayne: My ejaculate did increase when I reduced Flomax. Am now down to one tablet a week with no retro pain and better than half pre-op ejaculate.
