There seems to be two schools of thought following BT when it comes to PSA trends:
1. Quick, almost exponential-decay like drops to a fairly quick and steady nadir.

2. A slow, more linear type of decent with the occasional "bump" in the wrong direction.

My decent started with pattern no. 1 and now seems to have changed to more of a pattern 2. I am very thankful for "down" of any degree and even more thankful for the near absence of SEs that have been mild and mostly distant memories.

My issue is how to take this recent slow decent to .33 which is still not nadir. Has anyone else seen or experienced this mixture of prevelant trends in PSA declines following BT or any RT?

Browntrout, for my money you're doing great - continued downward trend is GOOD. You may be slowing down and coasting towards nadir, so I think it's all good.

BTW on the GFMPH side of things, the brookies will be soon available in the streams of the U.P., once the spring run=offs settle down. Getting excited!

Don't know - but down is the operative word.

Everyone's different. I went to .2 immediately and it took another 6 years to go to .05

I understand it take 18-36 months for most to reach a nadir, so I see your initial results as very good. There can be wide variability among men. And as John has experienced some of the cancer cells can take a very long time to give up.

Yoop, Brookies are truley awesome Char with a real beauty and allure. They are, quite often, attracted to the dry fly; truley exciting!
