I just wanted to thank everyone for their helping me navigate my way here the last 5 months. Everyone has been so giving in their time...emailing me and answering questions I've had along the way.

5 am arrival in the morning for a 7 am surgery. My Doctor is Dr. Tewari in NYC.

Thank you angle for you well wishes. Thanks Tim G...I've got that "heave-ho" attitude of which you spoke.

halbert...thanks for having my back .

And Pratoman...you're a good man Charlie Brown. It was great to finally see you.

I like the monday morning ops, doc all rested, patient worn out by anxiety, Just relax , enjoy the attention of those around you in the morning. You will be in the recover room in the blink of an eye. Your doctor will come in and tell you, ins many words,,We got ti all. Than just chill back and sleep … till loved ones come.

IT, no prob. You guys had my back, now it's time for me to give back. It will be a relief to walk through the door tomorrow morning. Be watching for your Tuesday or wednesday post.

Good luck tomorrow. I've heard nothing but great things about Tewari. You're going to be fine.

Go easy at first after surgery, but get into a walking regimen as soon as you can. Don't overdo it, of course, but it will help the healing and you'll feel a lot better.

Good luck tomorrow, make sure you have a recliner at home waiting for you and you have read the threads on catheter care. Most important, relax and just let this happen, you are in good hands.

Dr. Tewari is the best (or at least one of the best). You are in good hands. Try to walk and drink as much as your body can handle during the 24 hours after the surgery. Don't be afraid to ask for some pain meds if you need it.

You've done all your homework. Now it's time to relax in the knowledge that they've done it thousands of times before. They are professionals.
Sit back, relax, and let the drug cocktail do its work. Begin counting backwards from 100. 99... 98... 97... 9..
And when you wake up, your penis prostate will be gone. :-)

Island, I'll just say good for you. If you were not totally confident in your decision or your timing or whatever then you did the right thing by walking away. We all only get one chance to do this right the first time and you want to be VERY sure.

We are here to support you. I'm sure we will all be quite interested in the details if you care to share them with us.
