644/926 patients (70 percent) exhibited disease progression while receiving ADT.

Median times to disease progression (TTP) during ADT were
20.3 months for all 926 patients
27.5 months for men taking statins
17.4 months for men not taking statins

Not just any statin, but Crestor which Dr. Myers in his videos says has the proper pathway that other statins do not.

With ADT being potentially so tough on cardio metrics, Crestor helps offset that.

Of the two more likely to die from heart attack than PCa. So Crestor is a must as well as CoQ10 that statins cause to diminish.

Like everything else PCa whatever good you do with one step causes another step to offset the bad it contributes to.

I asked Myers about statins and he said to continue the current simvastatin I was already on to reduce cholesterol from "good" range to "ideal" range. Most GP's would not bother with the distinction. Myers then followed the treatment with blood studies and he was most concerned with small particle LDL as this was the "carrier" (or something). I truly did not quite understand his medical and chemical reasoning. He was most interested in this specific finding, more so than the others on the LabCorp results. I was in a very low result with which he was pleased. He called it "undetectable" though there actually was a number beside that item. Again, out of my understanding. He was much more interested in this as a PCa issue than heart and CV system issue which was generally good to start with.
