I read a piece to day on James Joyce's "Ulysses" by C.J Jung who told a story re the novel…. the cogent line is" do you know how the devil tortures those in Hades?? He makes them wait! " " Ya gotta serve somebody " Bob Dylan…1979

I've never had the guts to try to read Ulysses. I was told once that the only way to actually read it would be to read it in an Irish pub with a tall glass of Guinness at one's elbow. Since I really don't like stout, and I don't live anywhere near an irish pub, I'm good for now.

I've got an appointment this morning with my surgeon/urologist. I guess there's nothing to talk about. Maybe he's a football fan
