Don't post much here recently but it is always sad to read of any member losing the battle against this snake. My aunt's husband will be joining Bob soon from our disease. I pray that all men here and not on this site win this battle. Reading Zufus's journey on Yannow, it was plain to see he took the road less traveled and fought with every weapon available.

I always looked forward to his thoughts on things. I've missed his posts these last few months. I will always miss him saying that PC is the twilight zone; oddly I knew exactly what he meant.
Thank you Zufus...you touched more people than you ever knew.

R.I.P Bob.
Will certainly miss that sharp wit, and off the wall humor. Once in a while he would play the guitar a little.
There are some posters on here that I forget about
after they haven't posted for a while.
Not Zufus.
I'll bet his list of doctors will never forget being challenged either

So sorry to hear this, very sad. It brings home the reality of what we're all fighting. He was a warrior indeed!
Zufus was one who helped me along the way when I came here over 2 years ago with my hair on fire after diagnosis, not knowing what to do or where to turn. He, and others on this forum, have been such a blessing.

Farewell dear Zufus. I was wondering for the past few months how he was doing, because last time he checked in it didn´t sound good. True to himself, he beat everyone´s expectations, even in the last stage of his disease. He hung on for so much longer after reporting ill and pain.
And what a singer he was! I am so sorry that I didn´t get to tell him this in person. His songs and voice will forever stay with us, recorded. To a brave, innovative fighter, who was not afraid to follow his instincts, and in the end proved everyone right. Condolances to his family and his HW family. I am so lucky to have met him online and to have been inspired by his fight. Zufus, you will be missed. Great fight, you can be sooooo proud.

I associate this site with Zufus. When I was first diagnosed, he gave me courage. I thought...this guy is single-handedly beating advanced cancer for almost a decade (at that time). This one hits hard.

Goodbye Zufus. We will miss you.
In the five years of reading Zufus's posts he always struck me as someone especially courageous, someone not scared of questioning the status quo, someone who would march to the beat of their own drum. There are not many people around like Zufus and he is going to be missed.
Thank you Zufus for your approach to pca, your kindness, your offbeat ness. Thank you for showing the rest of us that there other ways to do things, there are questions to ask doctors which may make them uncomfortable. That if it doesn't make sense, to walk away.
Zufus took the path less travelled. I admire him for it.

Though I never met Bob face to face I will mourn his passing and send my sympathies to his family. I always enjoyed his posts and appreciated his fighting spirit. Rest in peace, Bob.
Tony, thank you for letting us know.

Bob,
You will be greatly missed. I always admired the way you reached out to help others and helped educate us in treatments that were out of the mainstream.

Truly saddened...
Bob was quick to reach out and help me figure out some of this stuff 4 years ago.
Loved his humor, wit, and uncanny ability to save a buck (or many) along his path.
May You Rest In Peace Bob....

Yep, he was a pisser, wasn't he? Always coming up with his own take and pursuing it! Seemed to work most of the time until he himself just said "ok, I've had enough". Kudos and rest in peace, Zufus.

So very sad to hear this news. He was a true warrior, always thinking outside the box, despite his own ongoing plight, was always there to help others in need in their PC battles. If we handed out Medals of Valor, he would be first on the list. May our departed brother rest in peace, to suffer no more in this world. Bless you, my friend.
