Provenge and injected steroid question

Hi,

We know that oral steroids are not to be combined with Provenge (concerns about further affecting the immune system).

How about steroid/analgesic injections like what they give for joint pain or back pain? I know those are small amounts intended to stay local, but I'm not sure whether they also might interfere with Provenge. Just curious. Thanks!

Not sure of the answer but as you know I was advised that in lieu of 5 Mg Prednisone *2 for reasons you cite, I was advised to take 50 Mg Inspra (Eplerenone blood pressure med) once a day.
