Well, not what I had hoped for but could be worse. Last three PSA readings were .36, .33, and now .37. One year seems early for a bounce.

Not bad. It's not much of a bounce, I think you're doing just fine.

I'm certainly no expert, Browntrout, but I wouldn't think that .37 for a brachy guy is any cause for alarm.

Same here. Is it not a slow path down to nadir, sometimes as much as 2 or 3 years? And I am thinking I have read it is very often not a straight downward path, more like(oft times anyway) the chart of a stock in a long term down trend: lower lows, and lower highs, but overall trendline down. Kind of like this:

Just had my 2 year post brachytherapy check. I was a little concerned as my last PSA was up a little to .5, however this one came back at .2. Feeling good


Then again, what do I now? Not much. Still, seems to me things might be going quite well so far.

Can take several years to nadir. I think a bounce would be higher too. Seems stable, even normal for a brachy guy.

browntrout, IMHO that's another great result - the minor difference across the .36, .33, and .37 could simply be "chatter" in the capability of the test equipment. Going from .33 to .37 is not a bounce. As others have stated, it can take some time to reach Nadir and in fact the median time to achieve nadir after radiotherapy is 27 months.
