I know some of you guys are avid motorcycle riders and will appreciate the link immediately below. It shows an annual motorcycle ride in New Brunswick to raise PCa funds and awareness. Here is a link to the parade in progress:
/www.youtube.com/watch?v=1arAFIaIWOEAnd here is a write-up about
the event itself:
globalnews.ca/news/1919071/annual-ride-for-dad-revs-up-to-fight-prostate-cancer/A quick Google search reveals that there actually do seem to be a few such PCa-awareness-inspired motorcycle rides taking place in the U.S. on a regular basis, but they seem to be only locally prominent. (Motorcycle guys, am I wrong on that?).
Maybe one of those rides can take the next step and become nationally or even internationally famous, annually raising a significant amount of money as well as bringing attention to the PCa cause.
Cancer-awareness parades and such are fine, but there would just be something
so cool about
watching a blocks-long line of revving motorcycles, maybe with them dressed out in blue ribbons or appropriate banners or such, bringing attention to PCa!
