I am in my 21'st of 37 Radiation treatments.
No side effects to speak of so far.
Prostate removed 3 1/2 yrs ago Robotic
pre op PSA was 4.8
Prostate 6% both sides
1 Lymp Node infected. T2c, pN1
Grade 3+4....7
Last Psa was 1.0 then started SRT
Bone scan clear
MRI clear
72 yrs old great health.
Cat scan clear
Oncologist thinks left over tissue in prostate bed causing psa rise
Says the SRT has a 50/50 chance of success.

How has other peoples results ended up......Thanks

Glad you have 21 session behind you. It really is an endurance race, not a sprint. Have you gone to the MSK prediction tool site to see what it says from your numbers. You might be surprised at what it comes up with. Check it out. Glad you are not having bad side effects. Drink
the right amount of water. They do check you before every session right? I go Monday for my first post SRT doctor's visit on Monday. I already have my PSA reading and the doctor will be very pleased. I could not be happier. It does not matter to me that I am short, fat, and bald! I have no PSA!!! I think it is all a matter of perspective.

Other than age, it looks like you and I share the same numbers and situation. I had SRT last summer. I guess you can say I was one of the lucky ones (so far) on the positive side of 50/50. My PSA has come back essentially undetectable. My Uro was so surprised at the PSA that he at first wondered if I had HT with radiation, which I did not. I go back for my next PSA in a month and all I can do is hope and pray. Wish you good luck as you continue treatment and hope you get good numbers in the future!

I had SRT 5 years ago with 12 months of ADT3. Going in Drs that I consulted with all told me the chance of a cure was at best 50%. I am now 4+ years since the end of HT and PSA is still undetectable. Not out of the woods by a long shot, but things are looking good.

Glad you turned out with good finish, yes i make sure the 24oz of water before each treatment. I am glad they are using the newest Proton Unit made, it pinpoints the treatment area and saves other body parts.
Will keep in touch.....will try the MSK predictor..........
