Our Comfy hotel starts serving breakfast at 6:30. Goodlife is usually one of the early birds but since you said 7:30, Karen and I may be downstairs by then. Hotel has set aside a group of room on 5th floor for GFMPH attendees.

Halbert, my flight is scheduled to land in ROC at 10:30am, so a bit late for you. But I am renting a car, so if anyone is getting in around 10:30 AM Friday, and wants a ride, let me know, I may want to just stop at the motel on the way to WGs place to see if I can get an early check in.

The festivities are well underway. Chef Jeff brought in a cooker/smoker the size of a car and started the meat smoking about 9:00 PM last night. It will be delicious
The aroma of mesquite and meat is filling the neighborhood.
Come on over.

Pratoman, The hotel will accommodate you any way you like. Early Check in will not be a problem. They're great.

Safe travels Halbert and Prato, and all others enroute to GFMPH. We plan to leave Cleveland by noon tomorrow. Will do a quick stop at the hotel and then head to Jeff's. Should be there by 6.

Sorry I've "gone dark" lately on HW. Dealing with this insurance denial is a time and emotion drain. We are REALLY looking forward to the weekend!

Wonderful folks, wonderful conversation that only occasionally veered into PC stuff. Waaaaaay too much food, the apple cannon, cleaning up a muddy pond, plenty of laughs. Serious stuff too. Back for more soon.

Yesterday was the busniss day. The meeting was exceptional. Following the meeting dinner was set up followed by a wonderful treat of scotch tasting and cigars. The winds calmed and we were able to have a fire going. What a fantastic gathering. One of the new guys, sorry not sure which one gave a very good description. He described it as "Healingwell Live"

Thanks to all that made this such a memorable event. What wonderful host Mr and Mz Worried. Your the best.

On my way home today. This weekend was as advertised. A great experience which I look forward to repeating. What a great bunch f guys. I was inspired, and came to realize I can handle anything that comes along.
Worried Guy and Mrs Worried Guy are terrific hosts, thank you so much for doing this.

Wow! Paul1959 just came into the house by way of the front door and discovered a box of goodies sent by Cmetalman and Jess. Cmetal took time off from driving the Pope to mail the package of bracelets and key chains made by his better half. Very nice! Thank you!
We just finished a breakfast of artery cleansing french toast and bacon prepared by 142 and Keith.
There are too many things going on right now too detail.
I'll just say we are all smiling!

Ran into Pratoman at the motel this morning as we were heading out. What a wonderful weekend. We hope to make it a regular part of our life in the future. Home now, facing work tomorrow.

A wonderful location to view tonight's red moon lunar eclipse, and we start the drive back to FL Monday morning.

Great to see the GFMPH folks who made it this year and to welcome new members Steve in Cleve, Pratoman, Halbert and StevenH, plus meet Paul 1959 one of the charter members for first time. Regards to the other GFMPH folks who could not make it to Rochester this year.

Next one in mid March on FL space coast hosted by Sonny & Sherry is much closer to home for us, but Karen and I plan to travel every six months regardless of where they are held. All three host couples are absolutely fabulous

What a great experience! We feel like we were at a family reunion. I can sense a confidence in Steve now and a feeling that he is much better equipped to deal with whatever lies ahead.

A big THANK YOU to Mr & Mrs Worried Guy - our gracious and fabulous hosts, and to all the GFMPH attendees who adopted us into their family without hesitation or reservation. It made the weekend incredibly special for us.

I got home about 7 last night. Uneventful trip, and the bag arrived. It only got lost while it was loaded with scotch.

Great visit, wonderful hosts. I have not weighed, and probably shouldn't for a few days. We did a "clear the leftovers" dinner Monday night to calm down WG, who was in panic mode that the leftovers might take over the house.

Bags are still where I left them last night.

The laundry room is calling ...

I had the shortest commute and very sorry that I was only there for the day. At 77 I still work a full week, managing my wife's practice. Time just disappears.

Can't tell you guys how happy I am to have prostate cancer! How else would I ever have gotten the chance to blast a rotten apple across 5 acres of manicured lawn?

It was great meeting you all. The "round table" was a fine experience. And what's with squirrels skeletons with a single hole in their sculls? Has the makings of a good movie "Prostate Sniper" (Advertising slogan "At least he could get his rifle up).

Our hosts were remarkable. Thanks so very much

This was truly a great event. Sherry and I are so happy to have met the first timers as well as seeing old friends.

To those of you that were here and are departed, you got out of here just in time. The rains came in the following day and have only just let up this afternoon. Those nice temps we had for the weekend have departed. The highs for the next week are in the in the mid to low 50s with the nightly temps forecast for the low 40s.

Sherry and I are the last ones here. Our hosts just left to take the worryworts to the airport. We will be on the road for the next month and are leaving our hosts on Monday. We planned our stay to be here for the annual Apple Festival next weekend.

It is kind of lonely here with all of you gone, but we sure are glad that we got to see all of you. We are already looking forward to next March in Florida.

I will have the exact dates set by the time we get back home in Mid October. I can tell you now though that for the first time in all of the GFMPH events we will have to put a max number on the attendees list. I don't know what the number is yet, but the list will be cut-off when we reach the number by the first confirmed names on the list of attendees.

The event will be in the second half of March so start thinking about whether you are coming or not.

I guess that GFMPH NY is officially coming to an end tomorrow morning. Sherry and I are packed and plan to pull out at 9am. This has been a great 10 days here visting with the Worriedguys. They sure threw another wonderful GFMPH gathering and it has been great visiting with them afterwards.

But all good things come to an end and we still have another 3 weeks of traveling left on this trip. Sadly it is time to move on. It is time though, I think I heard conversation about how much rent to charge us.

If you didn't make it here this year, you should start thinking about trying to be here next September. Well worth the trip.

We finally got around to taking down the, Peter Disabelard sleeping tent, feeding the fox, and burning some of the trash. (There was so much I'm afraid we are partially responsible for the floods in South Carolina.)
Tomorrow I will write the official minutes and circulate the address list.
A few folks forgot their goodie bags. I'll gladly forward them if you missed. Just let me know.

awwww, Prato. I managed to get it through somehow. WG, inquiring minds want to know....have you found a way to catch the mosquito carcasses and count them? If so, what is the current body count?

Yeah, PLR bottle was too big for carryon, works as checked only. Can't complain, it means the TSA folks were doing their jobs.

They did spot the remaining cigars. I offered one to the guys, but they refused, no gifts / tips allowed.

I killed a massive number of flies Monday, but they kept coming!
