To keep server space usage to a minimum. I posted a blog about dad. Also I will be in Hotlanta on Nevember 12th for 2 nights.

Todd-I am so sorry your dad is sick and cannot eat. I pray for a positive change and that the situation will improve.

Todd, you are totally, totally right. I remember stories of men with PC, who, given the right medication haven been brought back from the brink of death, not once, but multiple times. What I remember from this story, is that even other doctors thought that their colleague Dr.Logothetis was trying too hard, that the patient was as good as dead, but Dr.Logothetis tried and tried, and was successful. Don´t you give up, there is always a way out, even in these situations. Use your contacts or people with contacts. Hugs!!

We read your blog and post here, yes it's just a very consuming ,confounding trial for you and your Dad. Just take a deep breathe, and EXHALE. I agree with Special Lady, keep trying, use your contacts to find the right group of Doctors and or trials for treatments, and fire the locals if needed, like you have done before. Is that OSHU- Oregon Science and Health University? I went to their website and it looks impressive. Try to find a compassionate and knowlegible Doctor, because that, to me, means everything.

Todd, your post echoes the sentiments and experiences of a number of women on here who are caretakers of their husbands in advanced stages of PC. Their frustration with the health care system is similar to yours. It all points to the need for having the best doctor who you possibly can and who will fight with you and for you if you are ill. Wishing you and your family the best.

Yesterday is the second day my dad has been able to eat without it coming back up. The stent had slipped below the tumor and was resting on his stomach wall. Today he will receive radiation to debulk the tumor and his radioncologist has made arrangements to have him receive chemo as an inpatient at a hospital in Vancouver. My ex wife is the head R.N. On the oncology floor. She pretty much hates me so I am not sure if this is a good or bad thing🙀
